Gold Price Yen

What is a ballpark amount of spending money in yen to take a 9-day trip to Japan?
I'm going to take a tour of 9 days to Japan in late May 2010. For less than $ $ 3,000, airfare from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, hotels, travel between cities (bus, train, bullet, etc. among Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hakone, and Tokyo), daily breakfast and dinner the night before, a full-time tour guide, walking tours, guided tours and tickets to various attractions (Nijo Castle, Heian Shrine and Garden, silver or gold Pavilion, Lake Hakone cruise, Shinto Meiji Shrine, a cruise on the Sumida River, and Asakusa Kannon Temple) is all inclusive. Locale includes a day in Osaka, two days in Kyoto, half day in Nara, a day in Hakone, and 3 days in Tokyo. With this in mind, first, does this seem a reasonable price for what is included, and secondly, how much should I expect for meals, admission, souvenirs, etc? My initial though was about U.S. $ 600 dollars. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
That sounds like a reasonable agreement me, if not mind doing the group tour and you're really interested in going to all those places. If you're more interested in doing their own thing, you may find scheduling the tour group to be too confining. Provided they do not go crazy with shopping or super-fine dining, $ 600 will be enough for lunch in September and dining, 8 moderate, plus some memories.
