Gold digger end of Report: Gold and Silver Fall Over 1% and 2% Gold fell as low as $ 1088.20 for a little after 8:30 ET before was recovered in the closing higher, but still finished with a loss of 1.36%. Silver followed a similar pattern and ended not far from their point low of $ 16.56 with a loss of 2.24%.
